We’re hiring a Regional Sales Manager

Ross Industries Inc. is the world leader and manufacturer of commercial food processing and packaging equipment. Ross is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for the Northeastern United States who will use their specialized skills and talents to drive revenue, as well as continually improve the products and services we provide to our customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of the Ross product line to existing & prospective customers in assigned region
  • Maintain consistent relationships with customers & develop relationships with prospective customers
  • Use Consultative Selling strategies by putting the needs of the customer first to develop solutions that bring value to the customer
  • Conduct demonstrations of the Ross product line, both at Ross Industries and customers’ facilities as required
  • Utilize CRM for all sales activities: enter and actively maintain leads to establish a pipeline to meet or exceed annual sales budget
  • Participation in scheduled trade shows
  • Work closely with service technicians on new product installations
  • Ability to travel 50-60% with some weekend work and travel

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience selling capital equipment in the Protein industry preferred
  • Ability to identify and develop highly technical projects and equipment and explain them in a clear and concise manner.
  • Be of strong character and integrity; responsibility, ownership, and pride
  • Proven track record of success
  • Be curious and possess a “can-do” attitude
  • Strong technical background
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, with strong communication and presentation skills
